What did you do?

There is a suggestion box in the Combined Honours student common room.

Who is involved?

Members of the Student-Staff Committee are responsible for the suggestion box.

How do you do it?

The box is in the Combined Honours student common room. Combined Honours students can write suggestions and drop them in the box.

Why do you do it?

The box is a way for students to make suggestions - anonymously if they prefer.

Does it work?

Yes and no. The box is not heavily used, but one request resulted in the purchase of a kettle for the student common room: a small but significant achievement. Although the box is infrequently used it may be that the principle of having a suggestion box is the important issue.
