&nbsp;Aldoses are [[Monosaccharides|monosaccharides]] which contains one&nbsp;[[Aldehyde|aldehyde]] group (-CH=O). They have a general formula of (CH2O)n<sub></sub>. 

They can come in a variety of lengths for example;
