 You can release the DNA from a cell by three methods:

1. Physical

2. Biological

3. Mechanical



PHYSICAL:

  • Osmotic Shock- Sudden change in the solute concentration around the cell casues rapid movement of water in and out across the membrane. Water enters the cell and makes it swell then draws out and causes the cell to shrivel, this eventually causes apoptosis
