Chiral or chirality is referred to a molecule/ion which form two non-superimposable image on its mirror image. For a molecule to be chiral it must have a carbon atom attached to four different groups. Chiral molecules formed two types of configurations; left-hand and right-hand configurations. The configurations are called enantiomer or opical isomers.
