Eukaryotic

 Eukaryote is a cell type, it contains a nucleus and membrane bound organelles, it can be compared with the prokaryotes( bacteria and archea) which dont posses these organelles. It is also a large cell, and generally bigger than prokaryote cells.Eukaryotes possess numerous organelles including: mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosomes,centrioles, chloroplasts and a cytoskeleton. All these organelles float in the cytoplasm of the cell.  All the organelles of the eukaryote cell carry out specific ftasks enabling th cell to function accordingly. Some eukaryote cells have specialised surface features which enable movement such as flagella in sperm cells and other surface features which provide the cell with protection.All animals are eukaryotes including some plants, fungi and protists. In comparison with prokaryotes, eukaryotes cells have a greater capacity for complexity and diveristy.
