Toxic Shock Syndrome occurs due to a build-up of toxins, produced by <a href="Staphylococcus aureus">Staphylococcus aureus</a> bacterium, which eventually causes major bodily systems to shut down. It's often brought on my improper use of feminine hygiene products, and risk is heightened if a woman has just givenbirth[1].

Symptoms

  • Sudden fever
  • Vomitting
  • Sun-burn like rash
  • Diarrhoea
  • Faiting/feeling fain
  • Muscle aches
  • Diziness
  • Confusion
