Arcoxia contains the active substance etoricoxib, which is used for acute and chronic treatment of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis(OA). Besides, it can also relief of acute pain, chronic musculoskeletal pain and management of ankylosing spondylitis[1]. ARCOXIA is one of a group of medicines called selective COX-2 inhibitors. These belong to a family of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)[2].
