Our senses are | Our senses are important in allowing us to detect sensitivity and specificity. Senses are incredibly important and they allow us to feel and smell various chemicals, organic compounds existing in the environment. Senses are incredibly important and they allow us to feel and smell various chemicals, organic compounds existing in the environment. Then, we can classify them as harmful or useful, having a pleasant or unpleasant smell. There are five main sensory systems supported by human beings and mammals.
