  The blood stream is the blood that circulates the body in humans and animals.The blood stream is important in allowing gas exchange to take place within the lungs as well as teh  transport across kidneys and cell membranes.The continuous movement of blood ensures that oxygen can diffuse from the lungs and bind to haemoglobin  that it can be transported to respiring tissues.
