A cuvette is a piece of laboratory equipment that is used in a spectrophotometer. A cuvette is small and rectangular which is open at one side so that the sample can be poured in. The cuvette is clear so that light can pass through it in order to measure the absorbance of the sample that was place inside it. The cuvette is typically made of plastic or glass[1].
