Co-dominant genes are two genes in which neither is fully expressed in the phenotype of an individual. For example, a flower homozygous for a red colored phenotype crossed with a flower homozygous for a white phenotype should produce 100% of offspring with one of each gene. However, instead of expressing either a red or white colored phenotype, the offspring instead produces a pink colored phenotype instead.
