Toxic Shock Syndrome occurs due to a build up of toxins, produced by Staphylococcus aureus bacterium, which eventually causes major bodily systems to shut down. It's often brought on my inproper use of femine hygeine products, and risk is heightened if a woman has just givenbirth [1] .

Symptoms 

  • Sudden fever
  • Vomitting
  • Sun-burn like rash
  • Diarrhoea
  • Faiting/feeling fain
  • Muscle aches
  • Diziness
  • Confusion
