Actually, it is not&nbsp;1 dm<sup>3</sup>&nbsp;as when the original litre was defined it was incorrect and is now known to be 1 dm<sup>3</sup>&nbsp;plus a very little bit! So, technically it is no 1 dm<sup>3</sup>, or 1000 cm<sup>3</sup>
