Transciptome

Transcriptome - all the existing transcripts (copies of mRNAs transcribed from DNA [1] antisense template strand) in the particular cell at the given time.  By analysing the whole transcriptome it can allow us to discover where each gene is switched on or off and when this occurs [2].
