Aging is the process by which organisms grow older. It is seen as progressive functional decline and has a wide range of physiological functions. As a result of aging most organisms become more susceptible to disease.

There are many age-related diseases due to the degeneration of organs and the inability of the cells to replicate often and quickly as they used to. The most common ones include osteoarthritis, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's and diabetes [1].
