Lactate dehydrogenase
Lactate Dehydrogenase also known as LDH is an enzyme which is used in anaerobic respiration (glycolysis). LDH is needed to oxidise the co-enzyme NADH to NAD+ in order to provide the cell with energy (2ATP). Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; name cannot be a simple integer.
