ADH

Antidiuretic hormone (ADH) is a hormone which is made by the hypothalamus and stored in the posterior pituitary gland from which it is secreted. It binds to receptors on cells in the collecting duct of the kidney and promotes reabsorption of water back into the bloodstream.
