Adrenaline is a naturally produced hormone within the human body. It is produced in the adrenal glands located above the kidneys and travels in the blood stream. It is usually associated with shock and may cause an increase in heart rate, increased respiratory rate, vasoconstriction/dilation and lipolysis. It is classified as part of the amine family.
