Catalysis

Catalysis is the process by which the rate of chemical reactions are sped up as it lowers the Activation energy. Catalysts are also able to make a reaction viable in conditions that are usually unfavourable for the reaction. For example Enzymes are biological catalysts which allow efficient chemical reactions to occur in the body at 37 degrees.
