Polymerisation

Polymerisation is a process whereby single monomer units are joined together to create a longer chain known as a polymer . Chemical and physical properties of monomers differ from the monomers from which they are made. Two different mechanisms can lead to polymerisation; addition polymerisation  and condensation polymerisation.
