Valine

Valine is an amino acid which has a large non-polar side chain -CH(CH3)[1]

The amino acid Valine can be shortened to the three letter code ‘Val’ or a single letter code ‘V’.
The codons for the amino acid valine are GUU, GUC, GUA and GUG. [2]
