RRNA

rRNA is the polynucleotide that ribosomes, used for translation, are made of. It is the most abundant type of RNA in a cell.

In the cell, rRNA decodes mRNA and translates it into amino acids. The rRNA interacts with tRNA (transfer RNA), which brings with it, amino acids with correspond to the 3 base code on the mRNA sequence.
