T cell receptors
A T-Cell receptor is a molecule that can be found on the surface of T Lymphocytes (T-Cells). T-Cells are part of the immune system and are responsible for many of the immune responses that lead to allergic reactions, transplanted organ rejections and autoimmune diseases[1]. T-Cells circulate around the body and scan for abnormalities. The T-Cell receptors are heterodimers as they consist of two different protein chains. The chains are non-covalentlyassociat3ed with a complex of several polypeptides called CD3 antigens[2].
