Necrotising fasciitis

Necrotising fasciitis, commonly known as 'flesh eating' bacteria, is a rare infection of the deep layers of skin and subcutaneous tissue. It progresses rapidly, having greater risk of developing in the immunocompromised due to conditions such as diabetes or cancer.
