Melanoma is a disease and a skin cancer, that has the potential to cause more problems by spreading to other parts of the body[1]. "The most common sign of melanoma is the appearance of a new mole or a change in an existing mole."[2]  The other organs that can be infected include the intestines and the eyes[3].
