Charges

Charges are carried by atoms, ions or molecules. We can have positive, negative or a neutral charge. The kind of charge carried by a particle determines it's interaction. Positively charged particles can donate electrons while a negative one receives an electron. Like charges repel each other but unlike charges attract each other.
