Scientific journals

 Scientific journals are a group of academic articles which show progress in a particular or variety of areas. These publications are normally published monthly but this may vary. Each arcticle in a scientific journal is written generally by one or more people of a scientific background. Scientific journals are not written by journalists, for the most part they are written by scientists, students and others within the scientific community. Scientific journals are a special publication because the articles within must be peer reviewed, this is to evaluate the work and make sure it is a valid piece of scientific research. It is through peer review journals decide if an article should be published.
