 Peptide hormones are messanger molecules used in the endocrine sysetem of animals that are made up of peptides or proteins. A lot of peptide hormones work as growth hormones and the abuse of these hormones like with anabolic hormones ie steroids for muscle gain, can be extremely dangerous and cause serious health problems.
