Ras

 The Ras protein is a monomeric G-protein with weak intrinsic GTPase enzyme activity. It acts as a signal-transducer protein for growth factors and helps to transfer signals from cell-surface Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (RTK) receptors to the nucleus.
