 Allergy to egg is one of the most common food allergy in young children. In most cases this allergy is outgrown but in a few rare cases it persists. Symptoms vary largely, in worst case scenarios the patient suffers from anaphylaxis which recquires immediate medical attention, milder symptoms include skin rashes, respiratory disturbances like wheezing, nose block and watery eyes (Sicherer, 2013).
