Taxonomy is the biological classification of organisms, either extinct or alive. They are organised in this order: Kingdon, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Species. For example, a Sea Otter (Enhydra lutris[1]) belongs to the Mustelidae Family, and its Genus is Enhydra with its Species being Lutris.
