Pyruvate kinase

Pyruvate kinase is an enzyme that catalyzes the reaction of phosphoenolpyruvate to form pyruvate. This reaction is the tenth step in glycolysis and one molecule of ATP and one of pyruvate is released at the end of this stage[1].
