Diastolic pressure

Diastolic^[1] blood pressure is the lowest blood pressure in the cardiac cycle between contractions. When measuring the blood pressure you would read it as systole over diastole^[2]. Diastole is the relaxation phase of the cardiac cycle^[3][4].
