NADP+, or Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate is the [[oxidised]] form of NADP, having taken up a [[proton]] (H+). NADP+ provides the [[reducing]] power for many vital biochemical rections, as with every [[oxidation]] of NADP threre is a simultaiuos reduction of another molecule within the pathway, for oxidation and [[reduction]] always happen together.
