Nonsense mutation

Nonsense mutation is when there is a nucleotide substitution causing a different amino acid to be coded for, which creates a stop codon . This causes the protein that is being encoded for to be truncated due to the premature termination of translationUNIQ57d6659055b5e267-nowiki-00000001-QINU1UNIQ57d6659055b5e267-nowiki-00000002-QINU.
