About the Corporate Trust
The Geode Corporate Trust was set up in 1990. It is a philanthropic humanitarian organisation, run by the Geode Corporation to reflect the values and concerns of the company and its employees. Geode’s Trust focuses on areas where our skills and expertise in environmental management can be put to use in ways which will benefit local communities in the North East of England and in the Global South.
Our fund-raisers do a fantastic job and last year they managed to raise over £2 million. This was achieved through a variety of projects, from corporate charity auctions to the annual company fun run! This money is combined with direct funding from the Geode corporation and placed straight into our development projects. One of the fundamental principles behind the success of Geode’s Corporate Trust is the "Golden Pound Principle", where every single donated pound is spent on the Trust’s projects. All operating costs are covered by corporate sponsors, or interest earned on money waiting to be distributed.
