NADP<sup>+</sup>, or Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate is the [[Oxidised]] form of NADP, having taken up a [[Proton]] (H<sup>+</sup>). NADP+ provides the [[Reducing]] power for many vital biochemical rections, as with every [[Oxidation]] of NADP there is a simultaneous reduction of another molecule within the pathway, for oxidation and r[[Reduction|eduction]] always happen together.
