Prozac also known as fluoxetine is a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI [[1]]). It is an antidepressant used in treatment of a range of mental disorders including depression, anxiety and panic disorders and obsessive compulsive-disorder as well as eating disorders like bulimia. The drug being a strong energizing SSRI helps individuals to carry out day-to-day tasks by improving mood, sleep and appetite.
