A peptide is when two or more [[Amino acid|amino acids]] are joined together by a [[Peptide bond|peptide bond]] to form a [[molecule|molecule]]. The peptide bond occurs between the [[Carboxyl group|carboxyl group]] of one amino acid and the [[Amino group|amino group]] of another. Peptides can join together to form [[Polypeptide|polypeptides]] which can then join together to form [[proteins|proteins]].

A peptide is when two or more amino acids are joined together by a peptide bond to form a molecule. The peptide bond occurs between the carboxyl group of one amino acid and the amino group of another. Peptides can join together to form polypeptides which can then join together to form proteins.
