Paul Berg is an American Biochemist and Professor at Stamford University^[1]. He won the Nobel Prize in 1980 shared with Frederick Sanger and Walter Gilbert^[2]. He is creditied with producing the first recombinant DNA; he inserted bacteria lamba DNA into Simian virus SV40^[3].
