Paul Berg

Paul Berg is an American Biochemist and Professor at Stamford University. He won the Nobel Prize in 1980 shared with Frederick Sanger and Walter Gilbert. He is creditied with producing the first recombinant DNA; he inserted bacteria lamba DNA into Simian virus SV40.
