Maurice Wilkins (1916 - 2004) is most well known for his achievments concerning the structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). In 1962 Maurice Wilkins, along with James Watson and Francis Crick, gained the nobel prize in physiology or medicine for determining the structure of DNA.[1]
