PTBI (IRS1-like)

PTB (phosphotyrosine-binding domain) has a compact, 7-stranded beta-sandwich structure which is capped by a C-terminal helix, and is located near the N terminus[1].

Along with PH domains, they facilitate interaction with the activated tyrosine-phosphorylated insulin receptor in ISR-1[2].
