Alkenes
Alkenes are hydrocarbons with a carbon-carbon double bond. Alkenes have a general formula of CnH2n. They are known as unsaturated, where as alkanes are known as saturated. Examples include ethene (C2H4), propene (C3H6), butene (C4H8) etc.
