Hydrophillic

Hydrophilic means water loving, it is a molecule that can dissolve or interact with water. A hydrophilic molecule or part of the molecule is charged or polar, this is what gives the molecule the characteristic above. An example of a hydrophilic molecule is D-glucose[1].
