Maurice Wilkins
Maurice Wilkins (1916 - 2004) is most well known for his achievements concerning the structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). He worked with Rosalind Franklin in 1952 to produce an x-ray diffraction image of DNA known as photo 51 which was used to work out the structure of DNA[1]. In 1962 Maurice Wilkins, along with James Watson and Francis Crick, gained the Nobel prize in physiology or medicine for determining the structure of DNA[2].
