The Dalton is a measurement often used to specify the mass of an atom or a molecule. The mass of a hydrogen atom approximately equates to 1 Dalton Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; name cannot be a simple integer. Use a descriptive title. It was named after John Dalton (1766-1844) for his work in the atomic theory of mass [1].
