Fructose

Fructose is one of the three monosaccharides (the other two are Glucose and Galactose). Fructose can be found it plants and fruits, and it is responsible for the sweetness in both plants and fruits. Along with the other monosacchardies, fructose is digested directly into the bloodstream during the process of digestion. Fructose is anisomer of Glucose, in other words they both have the same molecular formula (C₆H₁₂O₆), but their structure is different.
