ATP-ase

The Enzyme which catalyses the hydrolysis of ATP, to ADP and an inorganic phosphate[1]. An example of a ATP-ase is the Ca2+ pump, this is a P-type transport ATPase which is located in the SR of skeletal muscle cells[2].
