Fibrous proteins are one of two types of protein, the other being Globular proteins. Fibrous proteins are structural proteins, so help sopport the cell and can be found in hair. Fibrous proteins are insoluble in water and tend to be long-chain polymers. There are two types, Keratin and Collagen.
